BREWERY SUPPORT

Join the Bear King Brewery team as a Brewery Support member! We're seeking a skilled multitasker with a passion for great beer to help us with brewing, packaging, cleaning, and maintenance duties. As a team player, you'll work with other members of our crew to ensure all of our beer meets our high standards of quality and taste. That sound like something you’re into? Hit that apply button!

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Brewery Support member, you'll have a variety of duties to keep you busy, including: assisting with brewing and packaging, running tests on products in progress, keeping our brewing facility clean and functional, and maintaining inventory. You'll also work closely with our Lead Brewer to monitor the quality, temperature, pressure, and carbonation of our beers. And that's just the beginning - there's always something new and exciting to do at Bear King!

Education & Experience:

We're looking for someone with a high school diploma or GED, as well as experience in a commercial production brewery. A formal brewing education from a credited program is preferred, as is a college degree in a related technical field.

Special Requirements:

As a Brewery Support member, you'll need to have a flexible schedule and your own vehicle, along with a valid driver's license, insurance coverage, and a clean driving record. Forklift certification is a plus (but we can provide it if necessary!).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

To excel in this role, you'll need to be able to follow detailed instructions and procedures, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task and manage stressful circumstances. You'll also need knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Most importantly, you should have a good understanding of quality assurance and problem-solving skills.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

The ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and/or move up to 55 pounds, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists is essential for this role. You should also have high mental and visual attention for planning difficult work methods and sequences, as well as the ability to exercise very precise muscular control.

Environmental Conditions:

Working in a brewery can be challenging, but also exciting! You'll be exposed to extreme heat, strong odors, chemicals, and moving machinery - but you'll also be surrounded by amazing beer and an awesome team. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud most of the time, but we like to keep things lively!
